Cut It Out

South London communities have come together to combat serious crime with a football tournament hosted by Palace for Life at Selhurst Park. Cut It Out is a unique event designed to unite the Croydon community while providing young south Londoners the chance to play on the iconic pitch.
This tournament serves not only as a sporting event but also as a vital platform for at-risk young people. It introduces them to local organizations that can offer support and guidance, helping to divert them away from gang activity and crime. A key focus of the event is on mentoring for girls and young women dealing with trauma, ensuring that all participants receive the support they need.
The tournament is part of the My Ends programme, generously funded by London’s Violence Reduction Unit. This initiative unites local organizations such as Palace For Life, Croydon Voluntary Action, PJ’s Community Services, and the Croydon BME Forum, all of which are dedicated to tackling knife crime and serious violence in Croydon. Join us at Selhurst Park to celebrate community strength and support a brighter future for our youth.
