Role and Responsibilities:

As a Volunteer Workshop Facilitator, you’ll have the opportunity to lead impactful sessions on diverse topics that address the unique challenges women and girls face. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and conducting workshops on critical mental health themes: transitions, time management, study skills, body image, self-esteem, confidence, CV and career development, gender-based violence, and more.
  • Creating engaging workshop content, including presentations, interactive activities, and open discussions.
  • Fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for participants to share and learn from each other’s experiences.
  • Collaborating with our team to align workshop themes with our mission and community needs.
  • Providing compassionate guidance and support during workshops and addressing participants’ questions and concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Genuine passion for mental health, empowerment, and addressing gender-based issues.
  • Knowledge of the specified workshop themes and a desire to empower women and girls.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening and effective communication.
  • Comfortable with public speaking and facilitating group discussions.
  • Empathy, patience, and the ability to adapt to participants' needs.
  • Prior experience in workshop facilitation, mental health, or related fields is advantageous.
